Welcome Back!

Dear readers,

On behalf of the editorial board, I would like to welcome you to Echo: A Music-Centered Journal’s newly-redesigned website.

In addition to the cutting-edge research and multimedia content our readers have come to expect, our most recent redesign also introduces new site functionality. Although the journal proper will continue to be published annually—now in the Fall—the Echo website will also incorporate a new blog, in which thought pieces by and interviews with scholars working on topics related to music and sound will appear throughout the year. Back issues will continue to be available on the site and in downloadable PDFs.  

As always, we welcome submissions from scholars at all stages of their careers. Please visit our submissions page for more information.
